I graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in music. Learning never ends. After working a few years in Lewiston, I decided to go back to school, where I finished a certificate in Literacy.
I spent several years working with grades K-2 in South Portland, integrating technology.
Now, I am back in Lewiston as a Kindergarten teacher! I love working with kindergarten-aged children! They are so enthusiastic!
I love to read children's literature and to play music. I play the piano, alto saxophone, and euphonium. What's a euphonium? Well, it looks like a small tuba.
We were saddened by the news of Mrs. Conklin's retirement last year as we had hoped for our daughter Abbi to have her for kindergarten. But our sadness was short lived once we met Mrs. Baltos. Abbi is going to have a great year. ��
